Aryavarth in general is a term for the northern part of India, Pakistan, East Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Assam. This doesn’t mean that the “Dakshina” (Southern India) was never a part of Bharat Civilization. Aryavarth is the geographical region where the Civilized Kingdoms, Vedic kingdoms existed. It is a subject used by the rulers, colonials and the conquerors to set up a narrative which works itself to fit in the ideology of Grand Narrative . Grand Narrative is a tool used by all the successful leaders, nations, kingdoms, and companies in general for a strong identity. Identity plays an important role in a nation building and civilizational essence. Until and unless civilizational essence is added to the nation building, the nation remains as good as identity-less built on borrowed up identity pillars of the colonial countries.
